Patricia’s Bio

Patricia “Pat” Palumbo is the founder and owner of The Logical Choice, a technology consulting and computer support business that helps local SOHO clients use information technology to add performance, reliability, and security to their enterprises.

Patricia has been professionally involved with computer support since 2001 when she was hired for a gig on the “Internet Help Desk” at a local ISP. Since then, her days have been filled with progressively responsible experience, learning, teaching, and supporting people, fixing problems, and creating solutions.

Her role may be defined as a Technology Generalist (aka Technologist), and the “wearer of many hats”. Comfortable in a cross-platform network environment, Patricia has solid hands-on experience with Linux systems administration on critical production servers.

Before her life as a Computer Geek™,  Patricia was fortunate to have fulfilled people’s dreams for many years as a custom jewelry designer, this is still an ongoing activity.

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religion from The University of Vermont and a Master of Arts (MAT) in Teaching with Technology from Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies.

She is a CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional, and a CompTIA A+ Certified Professional, and has completed the Certified Ethical Hacker training via the EC-Council.

Patricia is blessed to come from a large and interesting extended family. The oldest of five siblings, she has a dozen very talented and beautiful nieces and nephews. Patricia Palumbo currently resides in Northfield, Vermont with her SO, Pamela Sanders.
